JEANS OF JANUARY
January is cold and boring and nothing goes on. Everyone is broke after winter break and the stores are in a slump in between seasons. SO! A fun, easy way to s p u n k up your dead of winter outfits are funky jeans!!! The JEANS OF JANUARY! — this is what happens when you are low on ideas and are still trying to go with your New Year’s Resolutions of posting more, you go with alliteration :).
But in all honesty, I have found myself looking for and finding cheap and fun jeans within the past month. The denim makes them versatile enough to rewear but also the unique styles add a little something extra- and if that isn’t what I go for I don’t know what is!
I have posted a couple pairs before on the blog- the High Waisted Skinny Paper Bag Waist & the Side Ruffle Jeans, but as you can see in these pictures they look different depending on what you put with them! I wear a size 0 in the High Waisted Skinny Paper Bag Waist (only $20) and a 25- could have probably sized up to a 26- in the Side Ruffle (found on sale for under $30).
Now the flares! I am SO PROUD of my Zebra Flares— found on superrr sale in store at Free People. I am wearing a size 26 and they are the perfect length and fit. Free People is like the queen of flare jeans and these were my first and I just. love. them. I linked a similar printed pair here. &&& the Wide Leg Knee-Rip Flares! I have the size 24, and when I first bought them I almost returned them because of how long they are, but I have worn them at least 10 times since I’ve bought them in December. They are so comfy and give a perfect easy-going look. I found them in store at Forever 21, but linked a similar pair here.
